Web Application Development

We design and engineer fast, accessible, secure web applications that turn complex services into clear digital products, and remain maintainable after launch.

Product, not pages

Digital services people can complete with confidence

A web application is where brand promise meets operational reality. Users arrive with a job to complete, often across complex rules, data, and decisions. If the product is slow, unclear, inaccessible, or unreliable, the service fails no matter how polished the interface looks.

KHP brings product strategy, UX, visual design, engineering, and quality assurance into one team. We shape the right release, simplify difficult journeys, build the application on a dependable foundation, and instrument it so the next improvement is guided by evidence.

01

Clearer user journeys

Reduce confusion and abandonment by making complex tasks understandable from start to finish.

02

Dependable performance

Engineer speed, resilience, security, and accessibility as product requirements.

03

Faster product evolution

Use reusable systems, maintainable code, and product analytics to improve with confidence.

The build · an illustrative project

From brief to launch, one product

01 Week 0

The brief

A clinic group is losing patients at its online booking form. Half of them give up before they confirm. The ask: let patients book, pay and follow up without picking up the phone.

02 Week 1

Listen first

We sit with patients and front-desk staff and read the analytics. The drop is not random: it happens at insurance details, on a phone, in a hurry.

03 Week 2

Redraw the journey

Six steps become four. The slot is held first, insurance moves to after the booking, and the earliest available time is offered up front.

04 Week 3

Wireframe the hard part

The booking screen is prototyped before anything else, then tested with real patients until nobody gets stuck.

05 Weeks 4–5

Design the system

Type, colour, spacing and components are defined once as tokens, so every screen that follows stays accessible and consistent.

06 Weeks 6–9

Build in increments

Interface, booking API, payments and the clinic's scheduling system are built together and shipped to staging every week, tested as they go.

07 Week 10

Test like a patient

Keyboard only, a screen reader, a slow phone on 3G. Every journey is walked end to end before release, and the performance budget holds.

08 Week 11

Launch and learn

The portal goes live in stages. Bookings are watched as they arrive, and the next improvements come from what patients actually do.

What we build

Four connected capabilities

Each engagement is shaped around the problem. These are the building blocks we combine to solve it.

01

Product discovery & UX

Translate business goals and user evidence into a focused product, clear journeys, and a release plan.

  • Research and journey mapping
  • Information architecture
  • Prototyping and usability testing
02

Interface & design systems

Create a distinctive, accessible interface and the reusable foundations needed to keep it consistent.

  • Responsive product design
  • Component and token systems
  • Accessibility specifications
03

Full-stack engineering

Build the front end, services, data layer, authentication, and integrations as one production-ready application.

  • Modern web architecture
  • APIs and third-party integration
  • Identity, roles, and permissions
04

Quality & product operations

Prepare the application to launch, perform, recover, and improve under real operating conditions.

  • Automated and manual testing
  • Performance and security hardening
  • Analytics, monitoring, and release support

How we deliver

A controlled path from opportunity to operation

Strategy, design, engineering, and adoption move as one track so the solution is usable, governable, and ready for the work around it.

  1. 01

    Discover

Align users, business value, constraints, success measures, and the smallest useful product release.

  2. 02

    Prototype

Resolve the difficult journeys and technical risks early through testable product prototypes.

  3. 03

    Build

Deliver in working increments with continuous design review, testing, and stakeholder visibility.

  4. 04

    Launch and learn

Release safely, monitor the product, support adoption, and prioritise improvement from evidence.

Where it creates value

Built around real operating moments

01Customer experience

Self-service portal

Let customers manage accounts, submit requests, exchange documents, and follow progress in one place.

02B2B

Partner platform

Support onboarding, ordering, inventory, resources, communication, and performance for a partner network.

03SaaS

Digital product

Turn a repeatable service or workflow into a secure, subscription-ready web application.

04Data

Analytics workspace

Make complex data explorable and actionable through role-specific dashboards and workflows.

05Government

Transactional service

Guide citizens or businesses through eligibility, applications, documents, payment, and status.

06Internal operations

Team workspace

Replace scattered tools with a focused application for a critical cross-functional workflow.

Built responsibly

Quality is part of the product architecture

We do not leave performance, accessibility, security, or maintainability until the end. They shape design and engineering decisions throughout delivery.

01

Accessible

Core journeys are designed and tested for varied abilities, devices, and input methods.

02

Performant

Budgets and monitoring keep the experience responsive on realistic networks and hardware.

03

Secure

Threats, permissions, data exposure, dependencies, and release practices are reviewed deliberately.

04

Maintainable

Reusable components, clear boundaries, tests, and documentation make the product easier to evolve.
